Tour Overview
Day 1 : Chandigarh – Shimla

Arrive Chandigarh airport by flight no. XXXX at XXXX hours. Meet and greet with our representative and transfer proceed for Shimla (5-6 hrs drive). Arrive Shimla and check into the hotel. Overnight stay Shimla.

Day 2 : Shimla – Sangla

After breakfast, proceed for Sangla (6-7 hrs). Arrive Sangla & Check in to the Hotel. Sangla: The name Sangla itself is engulfed in romantic lore. Sang is said to mean ‘light’ and la of course means ‘pass’ in the Tibetan language. In other words it is the ‘pass of light’. Sangla village is surrounded with gigantic Kinner-Kailash peak (6,050m) towering over it. Overnight stay Sangla.

Day 3 : Sangla – Chitkul – Sangla (25 kms one way)

After breakfast, proceed for Chitkul. The drive is one of the most fascinating, pine trees slowly giving way to ‘Bhojpatra’/Birch trees and then the tree line disappears and one reaches the meadowland. Nagasthi: is the last border outpost and short walk from Chitkul. Civilians are not allowed beyond this point. The walk is a level one and slightly going down the path through a pastureland and fields overlooking the freely flowing Baspa. A 1.5 hrs walk takes you to the outpost where the Jawans’ smiling faces greet you. Back to Sangla. Overnight stay Sangla.

Day 4 : Sangla – Kalpa

After breakfast, proceed for Kalpa (2670 Mtrs – 49 Kms – 3/4 hrs). Kalpa is District Headquarter of Kinnaur. Enroute visit Buddhist Monastery in Kalpa & Check into the hotel. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden & Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day.  Overnight stay Kalpa.

Day 5 : Kalpa – Nako – Tabo - Kaza

After breakfast, proceed for Kaza (6-7 hrs). On the way, visit Nako.  Nako Lake, which freezes in the winter and villagers play ice hockey during this period and seeing the temple of Padamsambhava, the second incarnation of Lord Buddha who made Buddhism popular in the Trans Himalayas. The day has a surprise where a visit to the village of 5oo years old Mummy makes your journey and exciting. Reach Kaza and check into the hotel. Overnight stay Kaza.

Day 6 : Kaza

After breakfast, proceed for Kaza. Reach Kaza and Check into the hotel. The headquarters of Spiti sub-district, Kaza is situated on the bank of river Spiti, lapped by majestic mountains covered in snow, meandering and bubbling rivers and streams and picturesque barren landscape with scattered patches of green, Kaza is a dream destination. Overnight stay Kaza.

Day 7 : Kaza – Langza – Hikkam – Komic - Kaza

After breakfast, proceed for Hikkim – Highest post office in India, Komic village, Langza Fossil village. Later visit Chicham Bridge, Ki Monastery (13,500 ft), the largest monastery in Spiti Valley established in 11th century. It has ancient Buddhist scrolls and paintings and houses the largest number of Buddhist monks and nuns. Later visit Kibber (13800 ft – 11 km) beyond Ki Monastery, known for being the highest inhabited and motorable villages in the world), Kaza Monastery and local market. Overnight stay Kaza.

Day 8 : Kaza – Manali

After breakfast, proceed for Manali (10-11hrs drive) via Kunzum pass (4551 mts). Reach Manali by evening and check into the hotel. Overnight stay Manali.

Day 9 : Manali

After breakfast, full day free for leisure & personal activities. Overnight stay Manali.

Day 10 : Manali – Chandigarh

After breakfast, proceed for Chandigarh (7-8 hrs drive). Reach Chandigarh by evening. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay Chandigarh.

Day 11 : Departure

After breakfast, drop at Chandigarh airport/ Railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends with sweet memories.
